Description

Build AI Backgroud through Hands-On Learning

Designed to help young students build necessary background for learning artificial intelligence (AI), this series is an ideal STEM education material for K-12 students. Working through the sequential projects of carefully designed hands-on experiments and DIY projects, a student can quickly grasp the fundamental concepts and interesting topics in electronics and computer program, and secure the fundamental knowledge for participating in advanced AI programs.

All hands-on experiments employ the 5eBoard LEGO-like platform using building blocks to construct study projects, no soldering involved and all parts repeatedly usable.

Level: Intermediate
Age: 7 or older

Features:
• Provide I/O interface between a microcontroller and application devices
• Provide an interface between a microcontroller and a computer for code programming (through a RS232 USB-TTL Serial adapter, included)
• Adaptive to portable power suppliers for both the microcontroller and the controlled devices (3.3 – 5.5V)
• Easily attachable to a project panel built on 5eBoard

Materials Included in the Kit:
(1) Two 5eBoard Kits; (2) One bootloader-burned ATMega328 microcontroller; (3) one FTDI232 module, (4) all electronic components and connection wires; (5) twenty I/O Dupont jumper wires, (6) one battery holder, (7) Instruction manual (online download).

Note: to connect the FTDI232 module to a computer, a Mini-B USB cable is needed. Since many users already have this cable, it is not included in the kit. You can order it from our online store.
